Watch our patient education video to understand exactly what laser therapy does inside the body and what to expect during treatment.
Class IV Laser therapy is painless, non-invasive, and drug-free, scientifically documented to significantly reduce and often completely eliminate pain by stimulating cells to perform their natural functions at up to 300x faster than normal.
The same Class IV laser technology used by elite professional sports organizations is available right here in Bozeman, MT.
Class IV lasers cause a process called photobiomodulation (PBM) to occur in the body. When red and infrared laser light touches the skin, photons penetrate underlying tissue and are absorbed by our cells.
This stimulates production of enzyme COX, which boosts ATP production, the energy currency of every living cell. Increased ATP drives cell proliferation and enhances stem cell differentiation, inducing multiple biological responses that promote tissue repair, including nerve regeneration and collagen production.
PBM also increases blood flow and reduces inflammation by modulating prostaglandins and cytokines, key regulators of the body's inflammatory response.
The infrared light and heat created by Class IV lasers targets fungal and bacterial pathogens, destroying cell wall structures and stimulating immune cells that aid in fighting viral infections.
Unlike medications that mask symptoms, laser therapy heals at the cellular level, producing real, lasting results rather than temporary relief.

A native Montanan, Rob began his journey towards athletic training with a passion for moving in the outdoors. A love of climbing, snowboarding and trail running eventually led him to a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Montana State University in Bozeman. In 2011, he transitioned from the Rocky Mountains to the Mid-Atlantic in pursuit of a master's degree in athletic training. He graduated with honors from Shenandoah University in Northern Virginia in 2013.
As a certified athletic trainer, his priority is creating the most effective treatments available for musculoskeletal injuries both acute and chronic in nature. Rob also believes that if your job requires movement, you are a professional athlete. Industrial athletes deserve the same high quality injury treatment and prevention services you would find available in the athletic training rooms associated with more traditional sports like football or basketball.
Since 2013, Rob has had the privilege of using a variety of evidence-based interventions in treating and preventing sports injuries in athletes of all stripes. In addition to traditional high school and collegiate athletics, he feels lucky to have worked with law enforcement, factory workers, ultra endurance runners and mixed martial arts fighters. He has also worked with professional skiers and snowboarders with Teton Gravity Research and competitors in the Freeride World Tour.
Rob is currently the athletic trainer for Gallatin High School. He is a certified provider of Class IV laser therapy, certified in Dry Needling by the Institute of the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, certified in manual therapy as a Rockblades IASTM level 2 provider, and certified in functional movement assessment as a level 1 SFMA Movement Screen provider.
